Would be good loan signing, not playing for blackburn at the minute, proven he can score goals. it goes againts what CL says about short term contracts but he can score, could be worth a look.

Nice thought,not going to happen though IMO.CL won't get anymore short term players in.I read he wants to build a 'spirit' in the team,getting a group of players together for 3 years like MON so they know each other and will play for each other as it were.I think he stated that the players don't know each other here because none of them have been or will be around long enough to really bother.I suppose its only like us,if you go into a job on a short term contract you aren't really going to be that arsed are you where as if you know you are there for a long while then you are going to make an effort.I think there may well be alot of egos knocking around in our dressing room at the moment as well

thats because he has hardly played this season, if he did come (highly unlikely) he would play, and he has proven last season he can score.

Jon stead has made 12 starts this season scoring no goals and has been a regular lately so still his form doesn't look too impressive. However i guess the theory is he drops down a league and gets some confidence back, but i don't see it happening
