Defender Josh Knight has re-joined Sky Bet League 1 side Peterborough United on a season-long loan deal.
The 22-year-old spent the second half of the 2018/19 campaign in Cambridgeshire, where he made eight appearances for Darren Ferguson’s side, helping them to a seventh place finish.
Knight joined City’s Academy at the age of eight and has progressed through the ranks, signing a new contract in January keeping him at the Club until 2021.
The imposing centre-half impressed in Premier League 2 last season winning December’s Player of the Month award – an honour he was also nominated for in November after a fine run of form.
He made his debut for Leicester City’s First Team in a 4-1 win over Sheffield United in the Carabao Cup in August 2017 and was part of City’s Under-21s group that won the Hong Kong Soccer Sevens tournament that same year.
Knight will be available for Peterborough United in their first Sky Bet League 1 game against Fleetwood Town on Saturday.
