Leicester City Academy graduate Josh Knight has signed for Sky Bet Championship side Peterborough United on a permanent deal, after 15 years at the Club.
Knight joined the Foxes at the age of eight and signed his first professional contract with the Club 10 years later.
In August 2017, he made his first team debut in the Carabao Cup, helping City to a 4-1 win against Sheffield United, before joining Peterborough United on loan in February of the following campaign to help further his development.
The 23-year-old made eight appearances for the Posh in 2018/19 and spent a second spell on loan with them in 2019/20, featuring for the East of England side 26 times in all competitions, finding the net three times and helping them to a seventh-place finish in League 1.
Last term, he joined Championship side Wycombe Wanderers on loan, racking up 39 appearances and scoring twice. He was also named Player of the Season and Player’s Player of the Season at the end of the campaign.
