Well I know quite a few fans including myself would fancy Marcus Stewart here but what about this Spanish guy who will be free soon at Wrexham.

Wrexham - Played 29(9) Scored 22
DOB - 7.11.80
CLUBS - Real Sociedad

I can't see where you could go wrong with this guy... He can't be on much at Wrexham & has a pretty awesome record in his first season in English football & from what I have seen of him, he's a poacher like Cottee.

Think he is fairly young as well, had many games where he has scored 3+ goals. He is deffo the type of player we want over marcus stewart. Although i wouldnt complain if we got stewart in for 1 season, 'to do a job'.

Someone at my school who also supports Leicester was saying that we should get him. I agree with you both, the way I see it he would get at least 18 goals in the championship, probably more, which is a hell of a lot more than anyone here at the moment.

Although the way Connolly's been of late, he may score bucket-loads next term with Hughes etc supplying him!

I know, I was thinking about that, if he gets 7 goals in 11 matches then possibly he may keep that rate for the whole of next season.

Here's hoping!!!!

I think Connolly will hit 20+ next season that much I will see if any bookies will take odds, perhaps 25+.

I think Ugarte would be a great move though & perhaps a realistic buy in terms of wages & I'm sure he would jump at the chance.

He only scored two goals in his first 16 matches of the season - but maybe it took him time to adapt to English/Welsh football.

I've also heard Wrexham fans say he's inconsistent, when he's good he can be great, but more often than not he's not very good. He's actually scored in less games this season than Connolly has, his goals have mostly come in spurts.

I was going to re-word it because I knew I'd get a reaction like that. I couldn't think of a better way of saying it though!

It is getting worse than the days of Joe and Malf at their worst on here.

lol webbo, I'm not really into watching guys that come in spurts lol....

perhaps we should leave him out then!

I'd take the risk, well is it really a risk? He can't be on much, the only risk with him would be if he was another Dennis Wise. I guy like that around even on the bench could turn games around I think.

Indeed - and you expect so much more from our leader....

DC's recent goals could be put down to the Pens we've had of late - quite a few.

I might be wrong but haven't most of Ugarte's goals been scored away from home.

we like having draws, so a player like him scoring in 'spurts' on say about 5 or 6 away matches to make teh difference in a few games could put us well up the table, while everyone is delighted about dion getting offered a contract , him and connolly arent going to hit 30goals i doubt

I think Webbo prefers Juan King

Don't think so.

His ball control's crap, he's always dribbling but never makes it into the box.

Can't see him ever lasting 90 minutes, he's always getting pulled off.
