do not no if this has been already discussed, but my theory is that

milan's no1 target must be a manager already in employment.

i very much doubt milan had nigel worthington as his no1,so rather than unsettling an already disjointed leicester and other clubs now,he got nigel in as an easy option

then get his main man in the summer, hence paul ince

i agree and i also think he will be going for paul ince which imo wouldnt be that bad

Why is everyone rattling on about Paul bloody Ince. I'd rather have Worthington permanently than Ince.

Ince has no experience at a high level...can't you all see it is another Rob Kelly, Craig Levein, Peter Taylor scenario of appointing someone who would be a total gamble.

Worthington on the other hand ticks all the boxes. We know he took Norwich over when they were in trouble, we know he kept them up, we know he got them out of this division and yes ultimately know that they were relegated and he got the sack...

IMO he is still a better option than Ince. He knows the league and he has managed at a higher level.

Lets please stop with these stupid bloody gambles...we are not a test centre for footballs future managers and I for one am tired of being an experiment in the management equivalent of artificial stupidity.

If he can prove himself Worthington should be the man. I think Milan is on the money with his choice.

I hope its not paul ince either, just spouting what the press are saying.

my opinion is that who ever comes in will be very high profile, even a top
continental.

with a lot of money to spend he has to get someone in who can attract big names and promote the club.

Can't see it, really. MM isn't flashing as much as the relegated clubs will be, nor even as much as probably 3 of those who won't go up this season.

But we can but hope he'll pull something exceptional out of the bag. Ince won't be it, though, for sure.

Who said there's lots of money to spend? Historically, MM has not spent big money on transfers, just got frees and loans and spent the money on wages. I can't see that changing, so don't go looking for too many big money signings.

You can all stop finding things now, I've got something to do.

Argghh...these boards have started to get a bit samey over the past couple of days with all this talk discussing the new manager :icon_conf
