Are these the 3 midfielders to take us forward until January?
King has come in an looked like a footballer and was clearly one of the strongest midfielders of his age in the country, given the youth teams record whilst he played.
Clemence and Wesolowski were our strongest 2 midfielders until injury (although both hopefully back after the 2 week international break) and now. the below team playing 3-5-2 looks like one that could give us a good run of results until we can spend more money in January. The best thing for me about this team is that we've got 4 or 5 home grown lads in it
IMO aswell, unless we can get some decent prem players on loan we should recall Gradel and Odhiambo, who are getting goals and good reviews at their respective loan clubs.

Fulop

NGotty
McAuley
Kisnorbo

Stearman
Sheehan/Mattock

Wesolowski/Sheehan (depending on when/if Weso is back from injury)
King
Clemence (c)

Hume
Fryatt

Subs from: Campbell, Henderson, Kenton/Chambers Odhiambo, Gradel. Cort

Haven't seen King but if he is a forward minded midfielder it looks like a good balance.

1) Clemo to sit back and spray the passes
2) Weso to buzz about and put his foot in.
3) King to get forward, close to or even beyond the strikers

3 different types but a good balance. I would like to see Chambers at right wing back, as he surely would offer move going forward than Stearman.

I would like to see a line up (if all fully fit mind you) of.

Fulop

Chambers N'Gotty McAuley Kisnorbo

Kaebi/Ferreira Clemence Wesolowski Hayes

Hume Campbell

I'd like to see these two start if only to see if all the anticipation and expectation is really worthwhile.

The way they are being built up, they have a lot to prove.

What type of midfielder is King?
Attacking,holding or headless chicken?

surely kaebi is perfect for the right wing back spot as he can play both right mid and right back.

I read the topic as 'King Clemence' and 'Wesolowski'.
King Clem! I didn't realise he was THAT good

Not sure. He looks like a prospect but I wouldnt expect too much. Looked unsure on the ball yesterday which is to be expected.

Still he has presence. The game was too tight and our approach was too direct to see whether he has any pace/tricks or really passing ability.

no disrespect but kaebi and ferreira are hardly tearing it up in the ressies, neither hayes really

I would like them to have a run out in the first eleven atleast for about 3 games just to see how they fair alongside Clemence and Weso.
Hayes has been out injured for a while but what I saw of him at the start of the season I think he would do well.

Don't underestimate Chambers.

IMO he was our best player yesterday. Mobile, good tackler, quick & committed.

Ok his attacking could be better but I give him the benefit of the doubt on that as he is naturally a defender.

He is a good fit in the midfield at the moment.

What kind of midfielder is King - the "young" type of midfielder. Lets not overplay him. The way that Joe Mattock was rested on Saturday gives me hope that Ginger Mourinho will nurture King's talent carefully.

I say Clemence, wesolowski and then a "creative" player someone who can beat and man do the unexpexted. then we will have a good chance.

True against Sheff Wednesday but against sterner opposition in previous game(s), he didn't play as well in the midfield. I would like Chambers to take Stearman's place at right back/wing back instead. I think Stearman should be Chambers' cover in case of injury, loss of form etc and should be on the bench for now.
