Look where Gradel is as well. He's done great at dirty Leeds. Shame really - I always thought it was a bad decision to get rid of him.

It wasn't really our decision though and it certainly wasn't a bad one. He requested a transfer and forced himself out the club. No point keeping players who do that.

I'm not that bothered where King finishes, as long as it's behind The Yak and Vassell. And Yuki and Wellens and..

In fairness, he requested a transfer because he wasn't getting a look in here, and had enjoyed his loan spell at Leeds.

Don't blame him for going at all to be honest. Except for that he went to Leeds.

But anyway, he's gone and is the past. We're all about Sven's future now, and that has better players than Gradel in it

I can sort of understand his position though. If I remember correctly, he wasn't getting many games. Shame as I always thought he played with a lot of desire when I saw him at the Walkers. Although he really couldn't cross the ball to save his life. I'm always of the opinion it's far better to try and keep and develop young talent (and why King is so important to the side), than it is to spend millions on big name players. Maybe I'm not used to Leicester having money!

He was on the bench here and he was on the bench in his loan spell at Leeds who were in the level below at the time.

What he said

Incidentally, we also have a player in the top 5 Championship assisters:

1 Adel Taarabt Queens Park Rangers 11
2 Don Cowie Watford 9
= James Coppinger Doncaster Rovers 9
4 Peter Whittingham Cardiff City 8
5 Richard Wellens Leicester City 7

I'm told that Wellens assist, King goal is the most frequently occurring combination in the division.

Closer to the top now.

To be fair he's only two goals off the supposed best midfielder in the league and only three goals off of one of the best strikers in the league... It'll still take something special for him to finish top scorer though.
