3 year deal
Leicester City midfielder Andy King has today signed a new three-year contract with the club.
The 19-year-old, who is a product of City's Academy system, has started both of the Foxes' League One games to date this season.
And his impressive form in the middle of the park has earned him a new deal - which will keep him at the Walkers Stadium until at least the end of the 2010/11 campaign.
Manager Nigel Pearson said: "Andy has worked extremely hard during the time I have been at the club and he has earned his place in the first team.
"He played a lot of reserve team fixtures during pre-season, but he kept his head down and worked his way into the side.
"He is an excellent young prospect and we are delighted that he has committed his future to the club."
King made his first start for the Foxes in their 0-0 draw with Wolverhampton Wanders in October 2007. He went on to make 11 further appearances during the campaign - scoring one goal.
He joined Leicester after being released by Chelsea at the age of 15 in 2004. He was part of the City Academy side that won the FA Premier Academy League title in 2007.
