Anyone know whether Matty got this? It was supposed to have been announced last night but I can't seem to find any news.
In-form United striker Danny Graham has been awarded the Powerade League One Player of the Month award for August.
Graham, who bagged five goals in just four League games in the opening month of the season, beat off stiff competition from Matt Fryatt, Jermaine Beckham and Chris Taylor to receive the accolade.
I'd say that Matty wasn't even our best player of the month. For me that would have gone to Hobbs.
I don't know what they would have to do to be nominated.
It only seems to be strikers that get nominated, which is bizarre really when you consider that our defence has conceded quite a few less goals than the next nearest, I don't know what they would have to do to be nominated.
I thought this thread was about which burberry clad mongie gestured to the away fans the most in August.
FRYATT FINISHED THIRD BEHIND BECKFORD?...... D'oh! Sorry Drummin....keep it quiet but beckford came 2nd and fryatt came 3rd...
You'll be making small Fry, FF. It's a beautiful thing.Fryatt is the best player in the world and I'll hear no more said on the matter. He got me pregnant. We're deeply in love.
