The women's appeal has finally been thrown out of court
ETA: Will we finally get that internal report now..?
Official Statement
Leicester City have today welcomed the news that charges against several of its players following an incident in La Manga were finally thrown out of court once and for all.
Although all charges against the City players had been dismissed several months ago, the female complainants had sought to make an appeal through the Spanish authorities.
However, earlier today (Wednesday) the club has been informed that the appeal by the women has been thrown out by a leading Spanish judge.
Leicester City Chief Executive Tim Davies said: "We welcome the decision by the judge which now finally brings an end to this episode.
"The players have always protested their innocence of all criminal charges in the strongest possible terms.
"We have always maintained that we had faith in the Spanish judicial system that justice would be seen to be done."
