Laptop left clicker sticking

My laptop left button under the touch pad seems to be sticking! Is there a quick fix to this problem? any ideas how much it would cost to be repaired, its an acer aspire 3690.

I have a samsung optical mouse that i could use, put when i plug it in it doesnt work. is there something that i have to press to switch over from touchpad to mouse?

You can normally pop the key pads off to clean under them, not sure about the mouse buttons though.

There is normally a Fn key that will disable the touchpad, look for one with a square symbol with a line through it.

You should aim away from the computer. Or maybe use a sock.
