I used to use a 'secret' unofficial XML feed that was intended for their desktop news popup thing, but that stopped updating properly when they lost some staff at the end of last season and the people who took over obviously didn't have a clue what they were doing.
So I replaced it with something that 'scraped' the headlines from the latest news page on the official site, but that stopped working a week or so ago - and even when it was working a lot of important stuff (match reports for example) didn't appear on that page.
Then I noticed they provided a feed as part of the Player thing, and that seemed to be up to date, so I added that to the site instead. It was only after I added it that I realised people had to log in to read the stories.
So I'm still looking for a reliable way of adding the official site news, I'll go back and have a look at the original feed to see if they've started updating it again.
