Hi everyone.. first up, Jeff's kindly given permission to post this. 21 years back (for those who can remember), we recorded a song for City called 'We're Going Up', it did OK, especially as it was only sold on cassette back then (92/93 season). Well, we've just put it up on iTunes (I can't attach a link here, but you can just search LCFC and you'll find it) if anyone fancies it. We're also looking at doing a new version for this amazing year if anyone is interested.(The old version has Brian Little all over it) What do you think? Am ready for the Simon Cowell feedback too :)

Jeff, it goes onto iTunes first, but Ive also paid for it to go on Google Play, Amazon, Spotify and Shazam, but don't know how long it takes for those other companies to upload the tracks to their stores, they all have it now anyway. The version that's on Amazon at the moment (and maybe other places) on a complication called 'Filbert Street Blues', whoever put together that album doesn't have any permission to sell the music (they just keep the money without having done anything!), so please just look out for it as a single only. Cheers :)

I have the Filbert Street Blues CD. On the insert it says they were unable to contact the rights owners of the track, and to contact Cherry Red records if you're the owner.

Speaking of LCFC songs, does anyone remember the classic "You, me and Mark McGhee"? The B-side was a techno version of the post horn gallop. Ha ha.

Does anyone remember two lads coming onto the pitch with guitars during the Taylor season and playing a song called 'Sea of Blue' (Alllll for youuuuu).

Filbert Street Blues is also on spotify fwiw. My favourite track off it is "Oh Leicester City (Calypso)" but they're all loveable in their own kitschy little way.

But does anyone remember ymamm

you me and mark McGhee = ymamm

The Emile Heskey song was the best I had and was also on cassette.

"Is it a bird or is it a plane, no it's Emile Heskey running at you again"

Perhaps Neil Danns could record a song for for his successful teammates.
