I think you're correct. We were better today than for a long while but the problem is that we are still a world away from where we were last year. There was such a lack of concentration in defence not once, not twice but three times and this is completely unacceptable. I didn't expect us to get a result, I just wanted to see a more passionate, more organised approach. For 35 minutes we saw that and then we capitulated completely having lost any thread of confidence after conceding a goal. I must say, it's a quieter stadium these days from the start of the game - totally understandable of course, but not particularly helpful.Well I know I'm going to get shouted down for this because we have been well beaten but I do think that was one of our better displays recently. Man U outclassed us but that's not to say we were crap.
I'll reserve judgement until after Swansea but that performance has given me hope. Ranieri has something to work with. Put Amartey, and maybe Wague, into the back 4 and Chilwell to replace Fuchs and we might be on to something.
Neville making it clear he thinks it's down to the players to look at themselves to get us back on track.
The likes of Fuchs, Huth and Morgan are making individual errors, which isn't being coached by Ranieri. They're experienced players, who should know better than not to follow their man in a one-two situation, stepping up beyond the rest of your defensive line, etc
We're never going to just wake up and perform as well as last season, it will take time and building up confidence. We were starting along that road today until Huth'so gaff. We can't cope with conceding for some reason - maybe we need to get the sports psychologist back in.I think you're correct. AmenWe must get behind Claudio even if we are relegated.
I do think the players are trying there is just something(s) missing, a spark a 25 years goal, something just to give everyone a lift. Not included in that is to replace Claudio.
We supported him when we had a terrific high, it's time to show faith and support in him again for opposite reasons.
We ain't down yet and I refuse to accept it until we are down.
The greatest manager we have ever had and we want to jettison him when the chips are down, is that really 'foxes never quit?'

Amen.Better performance ?
Forty minutes of battling away, but creating the square root of feck all
Followed by truly, genuinely awful defending
The truly ludicrous decision to bring on King. Two nil down and w take off two strikers and bring Andy Feckn' Wankpiece King
And then a second half of the most abject, hopelessness we've seen all season. Utterly shameful and embarrassing
United weren't even good, FFS
If that's a good performance, then we are down
Dead and buried
Winning the Premier League does not give him the right to take us down. I certainly will not support him all the way to relegation. We must get behind Claudio even if we are relegated.

Then by definition you advocate chop and change for our club on a generally half season basis?Winning the Premier League does not give him the right to take us down. I certainly will not support him all the way to relegation.
How do you work that out from what I said? Then by definition you advocate chop and change for our club on a generally half season basis?
