Didn't want to get too excited when we had clean sheets against NF, CP, LU, NF but knew that Man City would be a big test for him and our defence. Danny Ward did well today, he couldn't do anything to stop de Bruyne's effort.

Fair play to BR today. He picked a good lineup with a good game plan. And he made the right substitutions at the right time.

I accept this may sound silly. I’m even more encouraged with todays approach and performance than the 4-0 win last week.

Tielemans our MOTM for me. He gave everything for 93 mins. Special mention to Amartey, Ward, and Justin. They’ve been really good in the last 4 games. It’s looking like the Bournemouth performance was an aberration for Fars. He’s the organizer that our defence desperately needed. I wouldn’t even think about bringing Evans back at the moment.

We do need to take KDH out of the team for awhile.

Seeing as we shipped 4 and 6 to Arsenal and Spurs without trying, shows how much we've grown since. Funny to say I'm happy with a defeat. The manner though was what was more pleasing. If we play with that ethic for the rest of the season then I'm confident we're staying up.

Because Ward kept on giving him the ball and nobody in front of Soyuncu made any attempt to receive the ball so it left Soyuncu with the only option to lump it forward, I thought Soyuncu played well.

The goal came from Amartey losing a header duel because he was blinded by the sun. On a normal day he would have won possession and the free kick wouldn't have happened.
