Disappointed to go out, but I don't think it's the worst thing. Tonight has shown - again - we don't have the squad depth yet to compete in 3 competitions.

I don't think Brendan got it wrong with his selection, despite the obvious limits of that side. Had to protect Barnes and the two fullbacks given our other injuries.

It's disappointing as I would've liked to go further but ultimately never thought we could win the EL, so in the context of the rest of the season and our injuries, going out now rather than playing an extra 2 or 4 games in this comp and going out to one of the bigger teams left in wouldn't really help us much.

Disappointed but we will focus on the league!
