A poor match which wasn’t very easy on the eye, and an element of good fortune about the win.

But we dug in deep, with players who have played a lot recently, and managed to grind out the win.

Very different to our other recent wins. Not a sparkling attacking performance today, but an absolutely brilliant defensive display. Superb.

Such a structured, disciplined, committed display with great work rates throughout. That takes some doing with how many games we've had recently. Once again everyone knew their jobs and did them well.

A different type of win but great to see, and good that we're finding different ways to win games! That's what champions do...

Not a particularly entertaining game, neither side created much, but we seemed quite comfortable without expending too much energy which is important in the circumstances.
