made hard work of it, the ref was a tit and they ran out of pies...

They ran out of pies halfway through the first half in the East Stand.

Ben and his mate asked why they'd ran out, the reply?? 'We didn't think there would be this many here':icon_eek::icon_roll

FFS.........the first home game after Christmas and freezing cold, did they not think people might actually want hot foods at the game today?

Anyhoo, after thawing out now I'm home after that game I have to say not only was the match shite(well after the first 20 mins anyhoo) but so was the home support. Pitiful in fact. Hereford's support embarrassed ours.

I know we shouldn't complain too much, after all we won but that was one of the worst performances this season.

I was nervy about this game and expected this. It just looked too easy, and with the oppostion lacking quality it was always likely to be a naff game.
Just relieved we got the 3pts and can move on.

7 points clear of 3rd place, that's all that matters.

Was glad Berner was taken off, Ainsworth was outpacing him every time. Credit to NP, he made the sub before half time even though we were comfortable.

I heard someone before the game say that after the disappoint result at Leeds, we should sack Pearson and bring in Tony Adams - what a pleb!

Great 3 points. well done lads. on another note though...
Di MAtteo is doing an amazing job at MK Dons. Lost lots of players in the close season (Andrews, Dyer being key among them), rookie manager and they are pushing us all the way so far and only getting better.
Nice one DiMatteo - But Pearson is still showing that he's the man in this division.
Having said this, we'll need 2 at least quality faces in Jan to stay ahead of the game - after clearing the decks of the fringe players.
Come on City - half way there.

I wonder if he will rest key players for the Palace game ?
Or will he play them to see how they stand up against a typical championship side:102:

well done lads 4 points from 2 games in 2 days,i think most of us would be happy with that.

only one rant, the marking for there goal was terrible.

could see from were i was seated that 2 of there players had pulled a yard ahead of our defence before the ball was played in,consequently as the ball was played in they were ahead of the defence, and goal shocking
