Speed of typing is no excuse, that's only an excuse if you hit the wrong key by mistake, not for incorrect spelling. And they don't pronounce the same, unless Meltonians have some weird accent I'm not aware of.

yes I was on about the traffic, took the cousins twin lakes on wed, we got into Melton at 10-50 and arrived at Twin lakes at 1130! I was going to go to the match you mentioned, but I forgot am in Dawlish this weekend. Have a good one!
