im going to a few of the gigs over the festival period. will be going to all the phoenix arts late night comedy cafe nights as i live on marble street.

seems a shame to liove in leicester and miss the best comedy festival in the country.

I would have rather seen paul merton tonight that russel brand to be honest. How was the show though mate

it was great - despite opinions in here he is actually very funny at stand up and very clever too - half of his act was going through todays mercury and taking the pee out of it

From what i remember of it, 2 little kids with cancer isnt at all funny.

no he avoided that stuff - but did focus on the copper theif story - he then rang up the leicestershire police to report his copper had been stolen - the guy on the switchboard eventually guessed it was him and called him a messy haired scarecrow lol

I went to the Leicester Stands Up event at the Ale Wagon on Rutland Street. Cost £7 to get in and there were 7 acts. Very good night, ropey pub though

Yes it was packed. The show was in a little room upstairs there must have been 70 - 80 people there.

seeing Jimmy Carr on Thursday at DMH. seen him before and he was brilliant so i'm quite looking forward to it.

Was going to see Mark Watson this coming Saturday, but I'm not able to go anymore.

I am always walking up and down that street, used to be my LCFC path to Walkers after kickabout on front of Phoenix.

Dont be suprised if you hear someone shouting Lako Is A Cnut down there.
