Why would confidence be low? We are 4th in the current Premier League form table. Arsenal incidentally are 15th. In the last two league games we’ve beaten Liverpool and Villa. Arsenal have won one of their last five league games; so when you say they ‘are in form’ I presume you don’t mean good form.

One thing I've learnt over the last few years, is that you never, ever, write off Jamie Vardy.

We will only know that at the start of next season. He's been like this before when he has played too much and has had injury issues. He could well come back at the start of next season like a rabid greyhound.

Man City beating West Ham today is good for us.

Tomorrow Chelsea play Man Utd which means they both can't win.

Huge opportunity for us tomorrow against a very mediocre Arsenal team.

If we had rested a few more on Thursday, we'd be in a stronger position. But they played Thursday too.

Arsenal and us don't really draw many. It's all about the first goal tomorrow, as usual. We get it and we win. They get it and we might shit ourselves.

I think of a draw as a point removed from general circulation. Of course, it depends on the rest of the season as to whether that makes any difference but me, I think a 0-0 would satisfy me.

The main thing is that we win and maintain the pace.

A draw is the best result, but yes if there has to be a winner then I'd prefer Man Utd.

I'd rather consolidate top 4 than worry about catching 2nd

But ultimately if top 4 is the aim then the current top 4 pulling away has got to be better than anyone below getting a point.

That additional point that dissappears with a draw is more effective if given to the team in current top 4.


It's a tricky one really. Us winning is obviously the main thing required.

Us winning and Man Utd winning would be a very good afternoon for us.

I think the more points gap we have the better as Chelsea and Liverpool will improve before the season ends.

Everton and West Ham are still clinging on too like an unwipeable piece of shit so can't rule them out either.

Saying all this, I'm thinking Thursdays result was not as bad as it seemed as the fixture list is quite crazy enough without adding in more European games and travelling.
