Hopefully Silva will give us a bit more attacking creativity centrally, so we don't need to rely on our surfeit of wingers crowding each other out!

Nice to see Amartey back too.

I've driven from Whitwick which gets by far the worst of the weather in the county.

The snow drifts over the top near the bulls head (highest pub in Leicestershire) were all pushed back by the snow ploughs this morning, and whilst care was required, I'm here easily enough because I drove like a human being with a brain.

Calling this off would be an absolute joke.

Looks pretty good to me. My only worry would be the isolation of Vardy up front but other than that it seems okay. Glad to see Fuchs back in.

Hamer instead of Jakupovic on the bench will always baffle me.

Vardy was pretty isolated last week. He is in total solitary confinement today

Either he's throwing a load of strange things in the air, hoping one of them will drop to a miracle set up, or he hasn't got a blind clue what he's doing

I would have started with Iborra and Diabate but not the worst lineup

I'm happy enough with that. Bit surprised to see Vardy on his own but suspect Silva will be told to get forward and support him.

We were completely bereft of creativity in the middle last week, particularly when Mahrez went wide. For that reason I welcome Silva coming into midfield. Although I expected that to be at the expense of James rather than an attacking player.

Pretty happy with that. Wonder if Silva will play the Okazaki role behind Vardy, or whether it’ll be more of a 4-3-3.

Also Burnley have just beaten Everton so getting a win here is very important. Create a gap between us and Everton to close on 7th, rather than letting ourselves slip 4 points behind Burnley and further away from our goal .

Just tweeeted by OptaJoe..

6 - Jamie Vardy has ended up on the losing side in six Premier League games in which he’s scored this season; twice as many as any other player in the competition. Worthless.

Shocking that we've lost that many. Shocking that we've lost six to start with...

I don't think it is a joke; let alone "an absolute joke."

No doubt you are fit, dynamic and in your prime. I am neither fit or dynamic. As for prime I don't remember having a prime.
In the unlikely event that you fall over Lako you will no doubt leap up without a care in the world. Old people do not fall over; they have a fall and it is very different.

I rarely miss a home match but with great reluctance I have to miss this one.

One of these days we’ll have someone in the team who can score a one-on-one.

Wilf was lucky there. Ball taken off him from too easily.
