State of that bench too.
It's horrific squad management - unless the player is part of the regular 11 then they are woefully short of match fitness so it's no wonder they look so far off it whenever we have to call upon them. It's really odd how we don't give fringe or returning players hardly any game time.
I know there are rules about the U21s but surely it's obvious that the likes of Coady, Thomas, Choudhury, De Cordova-Reid and Daka are going to be terribly short of match fitness. Add that to their lack of ability at this level and it is a mess.
I'd much rather have 2-3 U21s on there.
What?Damned if you do, damned if you don’t. A perfect day if you love to moan about your manager.
So there’ll be no compliments for the manager if we win today?Whatever the outcome today, our manger has done **** all tactically or personnel wise to positively influence it.
Looks like that to me at the momentVestergaard injured again?
Could be a back five with McAteer at wing back.
So there’ll be no compliments for the manager if we win today?
Oh yeah, there was absolutely nothing to complain about being 2-0 down to Southampton and being abject for an hour. I base my opinions on what I see, not solely on the result. And the same defensive failings were there against Bournemouth. So there’ll be no compliments for the manager if we win today?
Sounds about right, and in line with our other two wins.
