Potentially massive because win this and we have good chance of a top 2 finish. Hopefully the defence will tighten up and learn from Saturdays errors Id like to see Gray start in place of Albrighton. We normally bounce back/respond to a poor performance lets hope we do, i think the players are really determined to do well in this competition. I think we will put on a good show in a 2-1 win Slimani Vardy

3-1 victory. Who cares about the PL?

Is Mendy available?

Time to drop some under performers I feel.

Schmeichel

Simpson / Huth / Hernandez / Chilwell

Albrighton / Drinkwater / Mendy / Gray

Okazaki / Slimani

So you would drop our captain, the most technically gifted midfielder we have ever had and our top scorer from last season in our first home Champions League game?

They have all been awful this season, so yes. They need to know that their half arsed efforts recently can't be tolerated.

I expect the starting eleven to be pretty much as started in Belgium.
Big game made even bigger as it's the first home one.

Hope we don't lose 3-0 (hope we don't lose at all really - stay top of the group).

I have a feeling Andy King will start. Part of me hopes that Ranieri will stick with Amartey. A vote of confidence would do him he world of good.
My prediction is below:

Zieler

Fuchs
Huth
Morgan
Simpson

Albrighton
King
Drinkwater
Mahrez

Okazaki
Vardy

I reckon we'll start the same team we did against Manure.

Seems strange to single out Morgan? I don't think he's been rubbish this season.

We've not been as solid as last season buy to blame Morgan seems strange.
Morgan was poor for both goals in the Community Shield. He was poor against Hull, Liverpool, and United. And completely lost his man for Chelsea's first goal.

I agree with you completely but don't forget, they were all so good in games last season.

But other than that he's been fantastic.

Absolutely, and I'm sure they will all come good again this season. But I think dropping a few of them could give them the kick up the arse that they so clearly need.

There were a couple of occasions last season where Mahrez was dropped when he was putting a half arsed effort in. Each time he came back into the team and was firing on all cylinders.

Huth looks less interested than Morgan.

Neither can be dropped because we due didn't sign any decent defenders.

Crazy shizzle

This place has gone mad!

Pretty much the usual team from last year imo though I think we'll have Slimani in for Okazaki and Gray can't be far off a start after an excellent second half at Old Trafford.

They'll be well up for this no question, so no ****ing around required.

Just cus Yanited dropped the lump of lard doesn't mean everyone else has to drop their captain.
