Leicester City have lost just one of their 12 home Premier League matches against Southampton (W7 D4), a 0-4 defeat in December 2001.

The last three meetings between Leicester and Southampton at the King Power Stadium have all ended goalless, including a 0-0 draw in the League Cup earlier this season.

Southampton have failed to score in their last four away Premier League games at the King Power against Leicester – their goalless run stands at 370 minutes.

Leicester have won three of their last four Premier League games (L1), more than they had in their previous 10 in the competition (W2 D4 L4).

Southampton have earned four points from their last two Premier League away games (W1 D1), as many as they had in their previous nine on the road in the competition (W1 D1 L7).

Southampton have lost more points from winning positions than any other side in the Premier League this season (15), while no side has won more from behind so far than Leicester (12, level with Arsenal).

Managers who’ve previously managed Southampton in the Premier League have won 18 Premier League games against them after leaving – more than any other side has lost against former managers in the competition; two of those wins belong to Claude Puel.

Angus Gunn kept a clean sheet on his Premier League debut for Southampton last time out against Chelsea – no Saints keeper has ever kept a clean sheet in their first two appearances in the competition.

Jamie Vardy has been involved in five of Leicester’s last eight Premier League goals (4 goals, 1 assist), with these goal involvements being worth seven points to the Foxes.

Leicester striker Kelechi Iheanacho has scored more Premier League goals against Southampton than he has against any other side (3). However, all of these goals came while he was at Man City.

Well that can’t be right. We never draw at home to shit teams.

Different animal to what they had under Mark Hughes hopefully we can play the same team that beat Everton and win.

2-1 Home win

Yes, same result as at St. Mary's will do, though I would be happier if Maguire, or somebody else, can not leave it until minute 92 before scoring the winning goal!

We’ll lose this, Hasenhuttl’s philosophy is to press high and play a high energy game.
Ours is to dink it round our own box then maybe hoof it and watch Vardy fail to get it after a bit.

I’d put money on at least one goal being conceded within 3 passes of a tackle on either Wilf or whoever else plays in CDM on Saturday.

Maybe. Sometimes, though, we do better against teams who get into us more.

They are suffering hugely with injuries and suspensions....

Betrand, Ings, Austin, Lemina, Yoshida, Gallagher all missing. Gabbiadini being sold.

Southampton win 2-0.

As I haven't got a clue who the **** will play where these days under Puel, I think I may as well have a punt:

Soyuncu - GK
James - LB
Vardy - CB
Gray - CB
Ndidi - LB
Morgan - LW
Evans - CM
Ricardo - CM
Chilwell - RW
Mendy - ST
Simpson - ST

I’ve lumped a tenner on 0-0. Will be the easiest money I’ll have ever made.
