Found a forum here, they seem very anxious about it similarly to us. Southampton seem to have worse luck than us with injuries at the moment including the Ings positive covid test.
Gray? Rested? Haven't they heard?

Agreeing with Homer gets my host but let's face it, Gray is championship standard and a lazy git to boot.

Head-to-head

  • Southampton won 2-1 in the corresponding fixture last January, having suffered a club record 9-0 home defeat against Leicester less than three months earlier.
  • Saints are unbeaten on their past four visits to Leicester, winning the last two.
  • The away team has won the last four Premier League matches.
Leicester City

  • Leicester are unbeaten in four league matches (W2, D2), their longest such run of the season.
  • However, they have won just one of their past four home league games (D1, L2).
  • The Foxes have lost four of their eight league fixtures at the King Power Stadium so far this season, as many as in the entirety of 2019-20.
  • In fact, only 31% of Leicester's points this season have been earned in home games, the lowest percentage in the division.
  • Leicester haven't won their first two top-flight league matches of the year since 1984.
  • Two of Jamie Vardy's 11 league goals this season have come at home.
Southampton

  • Saints could set a club top-flight record of seven consecutive away fixtures unbeaten.
  • They have lost just one of their past seven league games (W3, D3).
  • Southampton are looking to keep four Premier League clean sheets in a row for the first time since a run of six in January and February 2016.
  • They have kept an unsurpassed eight Premier League clean sheets this season, just one short of their total in 2019-20.
  • However, Ralph Hasenhuttl's side have scored just one goal in their past four league games.

Referee: Stuart Attwell.
Assistants: Harry Lennard, Eddie Smart.
Fourth official: Robert Jones.
VAR: Jonathan Moss.
Assistant VAR: Andy Halliday.

Ffs read that properly and it's a nailed on away win.

I'll slap a tenner on Soton, that'll sort it out....

Whatever we do against Southampton we need to play ultra competitive and physical. They've got too much pace not to get on to them early.

For me id play this - with Pereira, Albrighton, Perez being first dibs for subs.

Schmeichel.
Fofana Evans Soyuncu
Castagne Ndidi Tielemans Justin
Maddison
Vardy Barnes
Why would you go back to 3 centre halves? Why would you drop Albrighton when he's been in great form lately?

Apparently Southampton have scored a lot of goals from set pieces this season. That’ll be fun then.

I think we are harder to beat and can player more consistent attacking football with that team. Simple. Its not like we've torn up the league with Albrighton on the right we've drawn with and lost to a couple of bang average sides along the way.
Albrighton is great and will get time on the pitch, but castagne, pereira and Justin are more likely to be more consistently very good from what ive seen. They are all also a fair bit quicker than Albrighton.
Also I like the idea of a high line with fofana and soyuncu either side of Evans making it hard for opposition to get anywhere. We haven't had the chance to play that trio yet and I think it can be a game changer in how easy we find it to unlock teams and dictate bigger chunks of games.
