How strange to win 6 away games and none at home.
Not for the first time in recent seasons, there was a very decent Sunday crowd - but the atmosphere was eerily dead. The multiple loudspeakers belting out contemporary 'music' - against a backcloth of a silent crowd.
There were some more than decent performances in this ill-fated T20 campaign - but I don't understand why when the opposition has been more or less contained to a gettable total that Hoggard should choose to bowl the final over. Even tho' the first 2 balls were OK you just knew that he was the ideal pace to get a clobbering- and he did. Again not for the first time.
To be honest, I don't think Hoggard should be playing T20 - and for that matter I question whether he has the wherewithall to captain a county side, but that is a different issue.
