Don't agree. When he was bossing our midfield he never exactly covered every blade of grass did he? He left that to others. He's a clever player and one that would be outstanding for us at this level (even if he only played 25 games in the season).

i agree. but that only really worked in England with 2 other CMs running. not many managers use that system now. it also helps to have someone like Savage who does 2 peoples worth of running.

I think he would need a VERY GOOD midfield partner to be wothwhile.

personally wouldnt want him to come back and fail so im glad he's going somewhere else. still a bit of a let down in his choice.

Wouldn't want him, because i doubt we could accomodate him now. i think he still has something to offer the right team though. he is a very intelligent player.

Agree he would bring the class, skill and ability to make passes into space, but he would need somebody with a lot of pace and stamina next to him to provide cover. A couple of Savage/Tiatto (at their best!) clones.
