I heard this on the radio this morning, I had to smile. I had never before thought of the indigenous pupulation of Lesbos as being Lesbians?
Any others spring to mind?

I think they want to stop groups world wide using the word lesbian.
Anyway Im still liking the idea of lesbian on lesbian action in a courtroom.....

Why Lesbian as the word for an islander from Lesbos? Is it the pukka Greek term or not? Even in English might it not be Lesbossian?
