Young Leicester City midfielder Khanya Leshabela will join League Two side Crewe Alexandra on a loan agreement until the end of January, subject to league approval.
The 22-year-old has come through the ranks of the Football Club’s Academy and spent part of last season on loan with Shrewsbury Town, where he made nine appearances in all competitions.
A South Africa international at youth level, Leshabela has already made his First Team bow for the Foxes, with an appearance off the bench to make his Premier League debut in a 5-0 victory over Sheffield United at King Power Stadium in March 2021.
Leshabela’s development will now see him link up with his new Crewe Alexandra team-mates ahead of their opening League Two fixture of the season away to Rochdale on Saturday afternoon.
