Racing legend Lester Piggott is seriously ill in intensive care in a Swiss hospital after a heart problem flared up again.
The 71-year-old former jockey's wife Susan and daughter Maureen are reported to be at his bedside in Lausanne.

The 11-time champion rider was first admitted to West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds after feeling unwell on Christmas Eve on his return from a trip to Hong Kong.

He was allowed home after treatment five days later.

His son-in-law, Newmarket trainer William Haggas, said: "The latest news we have is that Lester is conscious and coherent."

A real legend to the sport of Horse Racing. Hope he pulls through !!
