Having spent around 20 years in the shadows of our east midland rivals, most of those under the great Brian Clough. Its fantastic to see them clinging by their fingertips to life in the fizzy. The things i enjoy the most is their fans beating the club up over their fall from grace. Even before xmas on the century radio phone-in, their fans were abusing the manager ,the players, the coaching staff, the ball boys, and the tea lady. The constant references to past glory was at the front of their bitching. No wonder the current regime hasn't got a chance. The mid week game against Sheff utd will leave them in the last chance saloon if they don't win. If they go down they will hear the laughter rumbling all the way up the A46. Then it will be time for them to get the A-Z out and feck off to Yeovil. Goodbye the trees, enjoy life in the back waters of english football :smt039 :smt116

You are going to get a lot of "do gooders" replying to this topic, saying it is a crying shame that a local rival has fallen from glory, and as East Midland rivals we should support them through the hard times and hope they bounce back as soon as possible

Well if you are one. Fook Off. Goodbye Forest, you bunch of simple demented Fookwits, stuck in a time warp. Well now it is too late. Time has caught you up. See Ya

sorry chaps and chappesses, i aint been on here for ages. theres no excuse really, well ok there is.. i forgot my password(thick twatt)

anyway. i dont think its at all funny to see the above posters on this thread taking the piss out of the prediciment of the trees. the fact that the club face certain relegation to the lower leagues after the glory days of brian clough and the european cup wins etc etc ...............................

I THINK ITS FEKKIN HILARIOUS   :o :-D :D

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha forest are wank

Its the onyl thing that makes our disappointing season bearable.

Hope you stay there as long as the other 'big clubs'

Gary Megson on BBC
"As it stands at the moment, everything we've got is nowhere near good enough. We are going to need a miracle."

Although not an expert on miraculous events or devine interventions... but I am pretty sure that even God would want to see the trees down so he can laugh at them. :-D

by the way, what is the difference between the emoticons with input ": - D" and ": mrgreen :"?

Couldn't happen to a nicer team - am soooooo fed up of them living off a cup win from 25 years ago....will be watching the mid week results with eager anticipation!!!!

 :D :o 8) :P :smt006

Be careful what you wish on other people. My experience is that somewhere along the line (remember there are only 4 points between us and the drop), you end up eating your words, humble pie, your hat...basically the lot. Its called Karma, don't wish 'bad' Karma on us! It always ends bad.

Instant Karmas gonna get you!

What an appalling lot you are

How could you be so bitter and twisted to our friends and neighbours over in Nottingham ?

The East Midlands derbies are a wonderful occasion, and it would be a tragedy to lose them - even worse if our good friends from Coventry were to join them.

We should get behind our neighbours, and cheer the East Midlands on to victory. Us against the rest of the country.

And don't forget that our neighbours have also won the European Cup. They never mention it, but they actually won it twice. Didn't you know ?

It would be a terrible day if they were to disappear into the lower leagues, never ever to return, and for their delightful ground to fester away into a ramshackle hole.

It would be dreadful if their already poor crowds dwindle away to next to nothing, and for the great memory of those glory days to be soured and ruined by a team not fit to play against a Coalville Town girlies eleven (no offence, ladies)

Shame on you all for taking pleasure in such an event

It is me, BF you little minx

I think we should all unite around our dear neighbours in their time of need - just like they did when we went into administration

It would be a disaster if they were all wiped off the face of the earth, never to be seen again

I only hope our good friends from Derby are not getting into difficulties, either :

What I find particularly funny is the FT posting a story about a fans trust that actually appears to be doing it's job in challenging the club for answers and explanations

If only we had such a thing.............

Tthere are nothing like the issues that the Rams Trust face over the 'background of their owners' - we have a clear knowledge of all our Directors & major shareholders & have had very early into the formation of both the Trust & the consortium

Out of intereste which particular issue would you be challenging our club on currently then BF?

It will be interesting to compare with the FT board meeting agenda (which takes place tonight)

I wasn't. All I suggested was that you find a hat to wear.
