If you don't want paul ince to be manager.......WHY? because i can't understand all the negativity
Paul Ince may well turn out to be one of the game's great managers but at the moment he is unproven. I am fed up of 'up and coming' managers coming to Leicester and would personally prefer someone with a proven track record of;
1. Premiership/Championship experience
2. Bringing on young players.
3. Buying good players
Any new manager is a risk but I think we need to lessen that risk.

The problem is, managers who have a GOOD record at this level and in the Premiership, are already with a big club, so we're unlikely to persuade one of them to come here.
The managers who are out of work are in that position because they failed, even if the failure is recent and they did a good job previously, that may not mean they can return to their previous success.
So really we have the choice of a failed manager, someone with no experience, or someone who has done well at a lower level.
That would have been true previously. I am hoping that then lure of MM's money will bring in someone better than the tat we have had since MON.
true jeff but i think were in a far better position then portsmouth were in terms of facilities and potential-plus Redknapp was still quite a scoop. This is MM's history of appointments since he sacked Alan Ball at Portsmouth - hardly full of the big name experienced managers people seem to think he'll go for:
Bob McNabb 09-12-1999 13-01-2000
Tony Pulis 13-01-2000 12-10-2000
Steve Claridge 12-10-2000 25-02-2001
Graham Rix 25-02-2001 25-03-2002
Harry Redknapp 25-03-2002 24-11-2004
Velimir Zajec 24-11-2004 07-04-2005
Alain Perrin 07-04-2005 24-11-2005
Joe Jordan 24-11-2005 07-12-2005
Harry Redknapp 07-12-2005 Present
Redknapp was still quite a scoop.
