I don't see the problem being the strikers. I see it more as CL's inability to get the strikers playing in front of goal.

Remember this CL and strikers. When the ball is coming down the wings or through the middle GET IN THE FOOKING BOX. Don't rely on Stearman, Paddy, Williams etc to be there because they can't do it. It is the strikers job, so fooking do it.

The new striker is only going to do what these strikers are already told to do, and I pity that striker if he tells CL that it is wrong (Johanssen???)

i agree. hammond does a lot of running but not enough of it is dangerous. he's a handfull in the box, the penalty against Milwall showed that. Hume doesn't have the muscle of hammond, and needs better service, he can never compete with the big defenders, he needs something to run on to. MDV is strong, but he holds onto the ball too long when he should either shoot or lay it off, and gets tackled. these can all be rectified with the right training.
