MDV Sylla and Hamll all omitted from the squad tonight!!!........ must be some more new faces to come in, once theyve been shifted.

It would appear they are on the way out, if they were going to be part of the squad of the squad then you would assume Kelly would have given them some sort of run out. IMO this certainly signals Kelly's and the clubs intention to move these players on.

Unless RK already has 100% confidence in them and they are guaranteed a place in the starting line up :081:

thank god CL has left :)

Its certainly a slap in the face to Sylla and hammill with Levi Porter playing for an hour and neither of them even involved tonight.

Also to MdV who must now consider himself 5th choice striker.

Would be suprised if they feautre this season. RK made it very clear there were no injury concerns before the game.

Trouble is if he doesn't play them at any point, it isn't a good sign for any prospective buyers that they are so low down the order. Let's hope that there is something in the pipeline.

A further point on this was RK saying everyone in the first team squad would get a run out last night. Does that mean Sylla, MdV and Hammil are no longer first team squad members?..

This is what the boss said:

"I believe that the situation is healthy. I have spoken with the three players and told them that I wanted to take a squad of 22 to the game and give them 45 minutes each. Unfortunately, in that situation, I can't play 25. I can only play 22.

There is a challenge there for them. They now have the opportunity to force me to reassess by putting in the performances.

They have acted in a professional manner. They are part and parcel of Leicester City and they have been fine."

surplus to requirements then.

When I arrived home from my holiday in sunny Bulgaria, I was shocked to see Craig Levein at the East Midlands Airport clutching a ONE WAY TICKET to Madrid! when I asked him about his plans, he told me he would be soon joining teh Real Madrid coaching staff, earning wages of up to £250,000 a week.

All that was left for me to do was congratulate the fortunate scot. Well done Craig, good luck with your future, all the best x.:icon_lol:

According to Louise on "the other site", in that interview RK also mentioned Dodds as one of the players left behind, they just left him out on the OS. lol. Kelly said he hadn't travelled, despite being "a great prospect". So I wonder if that puts Dodds ahead of MDV as well? ;)

I think all 4 of them will get a run out in the next game... MDV and/or Dodds at least I think.
