Thats what disappointed me.

Imo he gave Palace too much respect. We should not have worried about what they were doing, and consequently have a real go and ask them the questions. If in doing so we had lost, at least we would have learned more about our teams ability. Frankly i felt we learned nothing from the game.

Maybe he wasn't concerned about learning anything from the game? Maybe like a few on here he realised it meant absolutely nothing about where the team is in regards championship teams?

If we had played 4 across the middle against their 5 we would have been swamped out of midfield, which has been the key area to our passing game lately.
