Should ****ing hope so too.Selling promising young players is the opposite of what we need to be doing.

When they say bid I assume they mean loan bid.... Can't see us selling him. Or at least I'd hope not! Don't think we can afford to let him go on loan either at the minute though

Nothing to do with him being young - everything to do with the fact that our defence is hopelessly paper thin, and we need all the bodies we can get.

Will never happen

If we've rejected the bid it's not really speculation

You must have conclusive evidence that there was a bid, that we rejected it, and that he's definitely not going to move to Brentford in the future then?

Or are you not allowed to say.

Cue him moving out on loan for the season in the imminent future.

Such is my confidence on this one, that I am prepared to say that if it does happen then I will commit to participating in BM's utter shambles prediction competition for the entire season

The only way that I would ever make a commitment like that would be if I was Liam Moore.

And even then...

Not saying that this will happen - but it would put the seal on the club's downturn.

My guess is that Pearson is being set up to fail. No money to spend; in-coming transfer that would be ok- if we were competing in the Conference; continuing on off speculation about his potential removal.

The scene is set - early season results to confirm to the most unrealistic/ optimistic that we are going nowhere good; pearson gone by end of october; new manager given funds to spend.

Good to know you've seen Bakayogo play and put him at conference standard, what is it specifically you don't rate about him?

If you honestly think there's going to be money to spend for any LCFC manager this season you're ridiculously out of touch.

That's a lovely little conspiracy theory, there, RF

It is complete and utter bollocks, of course - but I suspect you already know that

I'd hope that if he does go it's on loan, he looks promising. I don't think he's up to playing in a team with ambitions of a promotion challenge just yet but would do for cover.
