Genuinely fear for us here.

Every chance the silly bugger starts Ward again based on his post-match comments.

There isn’t a bet I can make that feels like actual value. Liverpool are 3/1 to beat us by five goals…

As shit as it is, I really don't think we should all be lumping on Ward. He is only playing because Mads and Stolarczyk are injured. The problem is the weakness across the entire squad, meaning a few critical injuries and we're reduced to a starting team that simply can't compete in the EPL. That's not Ward's fault. It's not Ruud's fault and it wasn't Cooper's. This is entirely down to the people at the top of the club, and we need a clear out from the Top

I hope its 8-0 and also in the following game. Top might then start to realise.

Thing is, Liverpool will likely heavily rotate and will pick us off easily early doors before rotating further.

Has all the feel of a 3-0 training exercise.

Very tempted to use my FPL triple captain chip on Salah here...
If he plays. They play again on the Sunday away at West Ham, which will no doubt be a tougher game than at home against us, so he may have him on the bench.

When is this game?

I have to make an appointment for root-canal dental surgery (without any anaesthetics) - this may give me more pleasure then suffering, watching some football game.

Boxing Day, probably won’t be open.

You’ll suffer with the rest of us.
I'm hoping for food poisoning from Christmas dinner so I can sit on the toilet, shitting through the eye of a needle on boxing day. I'll enjoy that more.

8pm Boxing Day is late enough to have drunk enough that you don't really take in the game, and forget it by the next morning.

That's the goal.

Unfortunately it's also how our defence plays most weeks.

Now, there's a plan that I can get on board with. I'll be there (the drink and food plan).

The fact that I have to drive to Gatwick the day after Boxing Day means I can’t anaesthetise myself on the day. I’ll
just have to try and sleep through it.

Hmmm this is a very good plan. We’ve got 13 people at ours, so it’ll be pretty busy, but all cooking etc will be well done by that time, so I can definitely see this working.

Well, it’s at least a little on Cooper as he was in charge during our summer recruitment.

And playing Ward is at least to some degree on Ruud. He saw him at Newcastle, for 90 mins in the League Cup at OT, and for the first 45 today. And still he kept him on for the second half.

I’ve watched that second goal multiple times. And yes, Justin was a TWAT. He needs to be dropped immediately. I don’t care if it’s Choudhury who comes in to replace him. I’ve said in other posts that you don’t win PL matches with Choudhury in midfield and I stick by that. But he’s a better option at right back now than Justin. And Jesus, that’s a sad thing to say. But WTF is Ward doing? The Wolves players barely touches the ball and Ward for some reason tries to save it with his feet as he falls on his back in a Marx Brothers tribute routine. It defies logic. And yes, he can’t have felt good about himself as the fans jeered him. But you reap what you sow.

If you want to be kind to Ruud you can give him a pass for picking him today, maybe, possibly. After that inept performance there can be no excuse if hr picks him again, ever.
