Help!

Something is eating up my disk space and i can't work out what it is.

I have two hard Disks, C & D.

My C Drive is the main one with all of my programs etc and it keeps losing space on it.

First i deleted loads of old programs docs photos etc, this freed up 5/5GB but about a week later i got the dreaded 'low disk space' message again.

Next i relocated my music Library to the D drive, this freed up a further 8gb. That was only yesterday and now i've got the low space message again!

The only program i have running is BitTorrent (that's it! i hear you scream) but that saves files directly to my D drive. in any case, it isn't dowloading enough content to eat up so much of my space.

I am running spybot to check for anything at the mo but for some reason i'm not confident it will find anything.

Any ideas what is happening?

Is it making too many restore points? They can get massive over time.

Incomplete BitTorrent downloads were being allocated space on my C Drive, bluddy thing! the incomplete folder was located in Dpccuments & Settings/Nathan/Application Data/Bittorrent (application data file is hidden)

what did you do, because this is happening to me
there is proably an easier way but i uninstalled and reinstalled BitTorrent and told it to save all files on the D Drive, including the incomplete.

Can someone tell me how to do this. I only have 3.5gb of space remaining on my c drive. I use I tunes if that makes a difference.

Cheers

Gaz
If you use iTunes, go to the options and tell it to save your library to the D Drive. then go to File>collaborate library. The muic files will be copied accross so you will need to delete the originals from your itunes music folder.

Gaz may only have one hard drive.

Crap Cleaner is an excellent program for clearing drive space on Windows PCs
