Have you got a bike? - that would be quicker, it takes ages to get from MK to Luton by train.
I live near a village called Bow Brickhill, on a little side line between bedford and bletchley. It'll take about an hour.
Good luck to anyone stuck in the traffic back to the M1 after the game....:018: :icon_bigg :icon_lol:

i heard that on getting into the away end, you have to go through someone's back yard. sounds similar to filbert street

I think of bring a camera to take a picture, what with it a old-fashioned ground, reading however though new rules for taking pictures at footie matches, very harsh.

Yes, the A505 back to the motorway does tend to get very snarled up. To avoid this, it can be better to park to the south of the ground and then use either Hatters Way (A5065) or Dallow Road to get away from the area. Eventually Dallow Road joins Hatters Way at a roundabout, and then continuing on Hatters Way you go under the motorway, eventually reaching the A505 where you can turn right back to J11 of the M1. Probably a mile or so further but can save quite a bit of time.

With luck, you could be a few miles up the motorway before MK's train has come.
:)

I've decided to drive up from Slough way , park up at Luton Airport Parkway and get the train from there

I wouldn't have thought it was worth the bother. There is quite a bit of parking in the streets to the south of the ground. Approach from Junc 10, along London Road, Castle Street, left along the dual carriageway over the flyover and then left into Dallow Road after about half a mile. There's parking in the streets to both sides of Dallow Road within easy walking distance of the ground.
