Leicester City's Chief Operating Officer Paul Mace is leaving the club.
Mace is to establish his own sports media and public relations agency serving clubs, governing bodies and sporting sponsors.
Mace (41) has spent a combined total of 14 years during two spells with the Foxes.
Formerly Director of Communications, he returned to the club as a Board member in 2002 when Leicester City came out of administration.
"I have enjoyed my time immensely at the club but have always promised myself that I would like to own and operate my own business," he said.
"My thanks go to Chief Executive Tim Davies, the board and everyone connected with the club for making it undoubtedly one of the very best football clubs in the country.
"With Craig at the helm as football manager, I am sure that successful times on the pitch are just around the corner."

Why do you think it's a loss to the club?

He has made mistakes granted, but people forget that he really came in to his own during the La Manga debacle. He was praised from all angles for the way he handled that - mainly from outside the club.
It's similar to Pierpoint who was lambasted for the way the club was being run but at the end of the day people always look for a scapegoat. IMO Paul Mace did a good job at City, yes he could have kept us informed more and yes he could have been more supporter friendly but at the end of the day all clubs supporters have these gripes.
Well done Paul Mace for coming on board in our dark days and for helping to steady a decidedly wobbly ship.

Still not sure why you think he'll be a loss. Yes, he was praised during La Manga - but that's no reason to keep him, unless you're expecting some of our players to get arrested in Norway this summer.
Since he's come back to the club, his main achievements have been some high profile flops, plus endless lies, spin and bullshit.

Fair enough, I just think that LCFC fans are always looking for a fall guy and Mace seemed to be the man of choice.
