Drugs discovered off Donegal coast

Drugs worth more than €400,000 have been seized off the Donegal coast.


A local fishing trawler discovered the two bales of cannabis near Letterkenny, and alerted the gardai.

Customs officials say the bales were well wrapped, and were only in the sea for a short time.
An investigation is underway.

I think they might have a docks there though onto the river, not 100% sure.

Local knowledge h, when I used to work in Donegal I used to stay in Letterkenny for it's central location.
