I thought Vesty bought more control to the defence but you could also argue that he slowed the game down.

I thought both Winks and N’didi were ineffective and Fatawu and Mavadidi were a bit shit. I grt wingers are going to have off days but when Ipswich doubled up on them we failed to exploit space elsewhere.

On balance this is a game to defend deep with a five and look to frustrate them. Play on the counter and set up this way.

Agree that I don't see a massive need to switch to a back 5 but whilst our points and position looks ok at the moment, it will be interesting where we are after the next 8-10 games.

Ipswich and Wolves have played lots of the top teams already but we've only had to play 1 of the top 4 so far.

We've also played 4 of the 5 teams below us but we have only managed to win one of them.

We're also about the worst for shots faced and shots taken.

Sure, things could be a lot worse than they are but they also could have been better so we certainly haven't failed, we haven't been a big success either.

I have to say that I enjoy reading the differing opinions though the name-calling and belittling is something I could do without. I agree with some of the views of each side and would hate the debate to end; I don't find it boring at all.
