I know everyone is equally terrified of dropping into the abyss of division 1, which i think (and reading all previous threads over the last 8 weeks) is at best unlikely ((merely on the fact that those below us are equally as bad as we are, or worse)), but it was very refreshing to read his (MM) comments.
From this i interpreted that Kelly will stay until the end of the season when he will be replaced by someone else who will be given funds to get us back to where we belong and should be.
His tone of 'our club' and his commitment to 'funds in the summer' allied with his ''one clear goal to put the club back in the prem'' is refreshing and exciting.
I think we should all take it for granted that he knows what he is doing ((i'm sure the majority of fans do as well)) BUT he has the bigger picture. His experience at Pompey proved he knows what he's doing, and the mistakes he made there will not be replicated here.
Although we are witnessing a shower of s*** at the moment i think our no1 goal has to be (and i'm sure i speak for every fan of our club) to maintain our status in this league.
With this in mind, we should put our feelings towards RK to one side nad cheer the buys (possibly through gritted teeth) on to victory against the sheep this Friday. This would rubber stamp our survival and hopefully dent their promotion hopes at the same time.
What greater reason to get behind the team in spite of their lack of effort/professionalism and commitment???
