Anyone else on here got it? My housemate at uni has a Wii and recently brought this and i must say its a hell of a lot of fun, especially in multiplayer-online is pretty good too!

I have it, so do a few of my mates and my brother. It's okay offline but online multiplayer is where it really comes into its own...

I had a wii fit delivered today. Thing was I hadn't ordered one and the name on the delivery slip wasn't anything to do with us here.
Needless to say I did the right thing and ripped off the packaging and set it up on the tv.
Quality it is, although there must be something wrong with the software. The current mrs mk and the kids all registered as normal but the glitch in the system had me down as overweight......

I'm thinking about a Wii for my kids. Only the two eldest would really benefit, 5 & 3.

What's your opinion MK?, suitable for them?

the kids love the wii, get one, your 3 year old will be beating you before too long. I still use the xbox for driving games and the likes of halo but on the wii there are some really fun games that involve a bit of physical effort or at the very help least develop hand/eye co-ordination.

most of my family was messing about with wii fit earlier today and really enjoyed it. It does make fitness more fun, normally jogging on the spot is incredibly boring, there is a jogging excercise in wii fit that is incredibly basic yet makes the task quite fun (I've tried racing my brother to the finishing line and was knacked by the end of it. There are various other activites, such as muscle toning-excercises and balance games, like a 'ski slalom'. The jogging game has you put the wii remote in your pocket and obviously while you are running it notices the wii remote motion sensitivity is moving up and down, if you stop jogging, the character on screen stops too.. it has you jogging through a 3d cartoon environment with the mii characters on your console all doing various things on the way as you run around the track :icon_lol:

tornado, my 8 year old has sussed you don't need to jog, just hold the remote and move your arms.

ski jump record in the MK house is 155 meters...ahem...i thank you

I think your idea of "fun" is quite possibly different to mine :icon_conf :icon_wink

lol.. yes but that defeats the object if it being a jogging game.

My record ski jump for a single jump is 181m and my record combined over the two is 323m :icon_lol:
