With the confirmation of the termination of Martin Keown's contract by mutual consent, it is only right that we look back over his time at Leicester and take a look at his stats to give you something else to discuss for the day and as a tribute to the veteran defender's short time at Leicester.

So he was not useless but not particularly usefull either.

I think it's good that he's gone. Frees up money for CL to spend on shite goalkeepers.

good stuff sheffield, ta mate

He can tell his grandkids that he played with Bergkamp, Henry ,Seaman,Viera, pires, Nathan Blake, Scowcroft..........

I think he was good for us but at the end of the day Levein is trying to not make the same mistakes as Adams. He wants to build a team that will be around for 3/4 season, and not selling and buying a new squad every summer. He has to start by getting rid of the older ones that aren't part of his long term plans. Hopefully the money saved could see us bring more in so well done Craig :)

Personally i felt Keown was the best defender we had at the club and i'm sad to see him go, as i felt he could of been a key part of the remainder of the season. However i respect levein's decision to let him go to bring in some new faces.

Teeno that is spot on!!!

couldn't say it any better myself!!

MOM, 4 times thats not bad going, especially when he has only played 17 times. I wish he was staying, but I agree with every thing Teeno says, and wish Keown all the best
