Wow, If they are the type of teams we class as Gold fixture games then I would imagine there will be no Silver or Bronze games at all.

Perhaps there's higher catagories like " platinum " or " as good as a night of horny fun with Victoria Pendelton".

So we work our way upwards from gold

There's something I could have learned...

From first impressions they appear to be cheaper than last year.

So you are in the Family Stand then ?

Certainly more expensive in the East Stand - reckon the Gold Senior Citizens has gone up £3 in the section I'm in

A fans fixture for a mid-week game...clever

So what is to stop people buying kids tickets with these automated turnstiles?

Flashes a different coloured light when you go through to signify a concessionary ticket

So there is still a human (or something that resembles one) behind the scanner?

At some grounds they have one person covering a block of turnstiles, instead of one per turnstile.

Will the new system allow people to print their own tickets at home?

I fail to see how this would stop people getting in on lower priced tickets.

Adult puts in kids ticket. Operative is looking for say a blue flash, but it flashes green. Operative checks ticket and notices it says Under 12's ..... get it ?

No I don't get it, I don't get how one person covering an entire block can be quick enough to deal with it, especially if it was a common issue.

If on the other hand they have one person for each turnstile then the entire scheme is simply a total wate of money.

Jeff stated at some grounds they have one person covering a block. He follows Carlisle now, so attends grounds where 200 fans turn up :icon_wink

I reckon our turnstile staff has been reduced by 30% odd, so I think they will be adequately staffed to manage it.

Either way I would suggest getting to the ground early for the Posh game - this has got shambles written all over it
