I can vouch for actually seeing this guy play back when he played for the now defunct "Northern Spirit" team in Australia. Wasn't a bad keeper, but that's not saying much considering the previous standard of the Australian National Soccer League. He always used to wear a cap when he played in goal, so at least he has some character :roll: :-D Doubt he'd wear one now considering you guys get little sun over there :lol: Wouldn't know what he's like now though, obviously good enough for League One at least?

Don't know if any of you know this but Australia is starting a new Football league and Sydney F.C's marquee player is Dwight Yorke. But before we got our new coach the club approached Micky Adams before he went to Cov but he turned it down. :o

He's coming because he'll be by far the highest paid player in the league, loves the Sydney lifestyle and will be a pin-up boy. The other week he visited for contract talks and all the newspapers were buzzing and surrounding him and he was smiling and loving it...probably hasn't got so much attention since he moved to Man Utd... shows the lack of football talent we have down here if we (myself included) get excited over a 32/33 year old past his prime lol...

Makes me laugh when people go on about Dwight always playing with a smile on his face.... am i the only one who has noticed this might have something to do with being goofy. :?
