End of the season it says, winter has just begun. Megson will get his pay and have a great christmas then sod off to Barbados for a spot of exotic trainspotting before embarking on a massive piss take tour of Alaska, Georgia and not forgetting Aberyswyth before returning to reap revenge on the game 'Sonic the Hedgehog' which repeatedly tormented him as a young man "Damn you Robotnic!!!" was a regular outburst from this most ginger of managers. After his Sega conquest he will steal a canoe and become a canal pirate, terrorising the quiet folk of the Grand Union with his Jolly Roger flag and his raven trained only to say "pieces of eight" over and over again. This won't be the end of Megson though, oh no, just when you think it's safe to book a holiday in (or 'on' depending on your politics) the Norfolk Broads, Gary will be there in a Geoff Capes disguise. first it'll be friendly and then when you ask for 'Geoff's' autograph, he'll sign "MEGSON LIVES" and that'll be it. Six or seven years of bad luck.
