Good citizens when we grow up
And champions of the free

Oasis seeming like the biggest band in the world ever...

I was born in 1990, so my early childhood was Britpop and then a bit later on Limp Bizkit and so on. Whenever I listen to songs by Limp Bizkit like "Hot Dog", or "My Way" it's so nostalgic I almost want to cry.

Memories of childhood (I've given it some thought):
Scrumping;
fighting;
playing soccer, football, hurling;
****s for teachers;
girls;
getting in trouble;
Scouts;
being kicked out of Scouts;
breaking bones;
music;
Desperately wanting to be and dressing up like a mod/skinhead;
trying to work out if it was cooler to be a mod or a skinhead;
girls, especially Emma Buckley;
music;
girls, especially Maria Guerra;
being able to get fags;
Cassettes;
vinyl;
girls;
Leicester ****ing city

being banned from having those as they were dangerous

that fizzy sugar stuff you put on your tongue / sweet cigarettes
caps and cap guns
falling out of a tree
falling off my bike
knocking myself unconscious in the school gym
endless games with a tennis ball against a wall
playground games - skipping / french skipping/ british bulldog
Blue Peter pets
tiswas
Bay City Rollers / Osmonds
Moon landings
Powercuts / only having to go to school one day a week because the school had no fuel.

Decimal day, the day we went from £sp to decimal.
Top Deck Shandy
T Rex
The Cameo cinema
climbing in through above cinemas bog window, to watch x rated films at 14...:icon_bigg
Coming back from away matches with few windows left in the bus
nearly 40,000 at Filbert Street for FA cup replay match with Arsenal!

Newarke Bus station

Aunties was next door to Grannies. Aunties for the under 18's and Grannies for the over 18's

We also used to collect these silk scarves from other clubs.....:)

Odd use of the word 'collect', but I am sure we all know what you mean.
